Welcome to the world of Supreme Pilates Lab

Supreme Pilates Lab is a modern, high-aesthetic Pilates studio created by the team behind the Chiropractic and Podiatry Centre. It is conveniently located opposite the Chiropractic and Podiatry Centre and the Supreme Physio Lab physiotherapy clinic, at 31 Antheon Street, Ano Glyfada.

Our studio features two fully equipped Pilates rooms designed to meet the individual needs of every participant. The first room is equipped with four Pilates Reformer beds and is primarily used for Clinical Pilates — therapeutic exercise suitable for individuals of all ages, including those with chronic musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. The second room includes two Pilates Reformers, two Pilates Towers, two Wunda Chairs and one Pilates Cadillac. It is designed for participants who have previous experience with Clinical Pilates and wish to further develop muscle strength, stability and neuromuscular coordination.

Both rooms are manned by qualified physiotherapists and fitness professionals specialising in Clinical Pilates. Under the guidance of Mr. Dimou, our instructors deliver personalised programmes tailored to each individual’s stage of rehabilitation or fitness development. Sessions take place in small groups of up to four people, ensuring continuous supervision, safety and proper technique.

The integration of Pilates and Clinical Pilates with our existing chiropractic, podiatry and physiotherapy services further enhances the comprehensive and multidisciplinary nature of our centre. We apply specialised rehabilitation protocols for orthopaedic conditions, sports injuries, neurological cases and post-surgical recovery.

All of this is achieved through the power of properly guided therapeutic exercise. Welcome to the world of Supreme Pilates Lab.

What is Clinical Pilates

Clinical Pilates (Reformer Clinical Pilates) is a specialised form of Pilates delivered under the guidance and supervision of a qualified physiotherapist or trained instructor. It is designed to support injury rehabilitation, prevent further injuries, and improve overall body function and movement quality.

Unlike standard Pilates classes, Clinical Pilates programmes are personalised and adapted to each individual’s medical history, physical condition and rehabilitation goals. It is widely used in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, post-injury recovery and long-term pain management.

Benefits of Clinical Pilates

  • Reduction of pain and stiffness, particularly in the back, neck and joints.
  • Core strengthening and improved stability of the pelvis and spine.
  • Enhanced balance, coordination and proprioception (body awareness).
  • Improved posture and breathing quality, supporting better spinal alignment.
  • Re-education of correct movement patterns to enhance daily function, comfort and athletic performance.

When is Clinical Pilates recommended

  • Lower back pain (lumbago), neck pain and shoulder pain.

“I am an American athlete playing volleyball in Greece. Last year I had surgery on my shoulder and this is my first season playing again. I had been to the office a couple years before just for adjustments but came back this year for my shoulder. I was getting treatment and adjustments for a few weeks and they got my shoulder feeling better then it had before my surgery. I was able to sleep on my shoulder for the first time in almost 4 years. They are the greatest people and I will forever be a patient when I am in Greece!”

“I cannot recommend Vaggelis highly enough. His attention to my extremely complicated foot issue was absolute and dedicated, ruling out steadily all the possible causes, even at a distance since I live so far from Athens. The insoles he made for me helped hugely with the metatarsal pain I was getting too. However, over time it became apparent that there was something more serious happening, which he narrowed down to a neurological disorder. Following his referral to a neurologist, I spent the next 3 months going through a whole series of tests which confirmed that I have a very rare neurological disorder causing demyelination of the nerve sheath. The symptoms are often confused with many other problems, so it is notoriously difficult to diagnose. Had Vaggelis not referred me as soon as he realised this, I would not be at the point of now receiving treatment and hopefully on the long road to recovery. I am so very grateful to him. He is also an extremely nice person!”
